Just before I put the final touches on the Casement Window, I was skimming through the pages of the group Bartlesville Classifieds on the evil corporation known as Facebook. In the group I saw an add that was recently placed. $5.00 for a failed project of the sellers spouse.

If this wasn't just screaming "BUY ME"! I mean, how could I resist. The mirrors were individually placed and hot glued in. Each skewed into different directions. Looking into it I could only think "Picasso". Plus, I'm not sure how the hinges were arranged, but they didn't fold up correctly. The hardware was ugly and although it's hard to see, the paint has a green tint to it. I messaged the seller, and just like that, literally 5 minutes later, I had it in my hot little hands.

A friend of mine named Bobby suggested I make this window able to change scenes. So, armed with that idea, I started by removing the mirrors, cleaning it up, adding new hardware, and repainting it.

Using magnets and hanger wire, I was able to make the lower sash open and close with an easy sliding motion. Because of the size of the window, I had to once again get a pricey back light.

Also, the vertical nature of the window had to be considered in the size and types of images.
